E6938 / B (cn 50131) Canada Aviation and Space Museum. This Sopwith Snipe was built in 1918. After WWI the aircraft was used in several movies in the United States. After its movie carreer the aircraft was put on display in California. In 1960 the aircraft was restored to flying condition. The aircraft was then put on display in the USAF museum, but was later purchased by the Canadian War Museum. The Museum flew the aircraft until 1967 after which it was put on permenant display.
