PS915 (cn 6S/585121) The BBMF has painted this PR.XIX in the PRU Blue & Medium Sea Grey scheme used by the RAF during the early ‘fifties on photo-reconnaissance Meteors, Canberras, Hornets, Vampires and the last operational Spitfires. PS915 wears the markings of PS888, the last operational RAF Spitfire, retired at Singapore during the Malayan confrontation in 1954. It is seen here lifting off to take part in a BBMF/Rolls Royce formation with the Red Arrows. (400D, Sigma 80-400 & fluid-head tripod)
