R9125 / LX-L (cn 8377M) This Lysander began his extensive career by No. 5 MU at Kemble and then during Battle of Britain served by No. 225 Squadron, from Tilshead airfield flew on anti-invasion patrols. From this period is Lysander painted and displayed in RAF Museum Hendon. Since June 1941 changed many units and airbases - No. 5 MU at Kemble, 44 MU at Edzell, Gunnery Shool at Chelveston and later Sutton Bridge, No. 7 OTU at Limavady, Navigation School at Cranage, No. 5 MU at Kemble and since October 1944 operated until wars end by No. 161 Special Duties Squadron from RAF Tempsford. Since 1978 is displayed at Hendon in his first combat livery.
