WW138 / Z-227 (cn 12712) Built as a FAW.21 by de Havilland in Christchurch and delivered new to the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm in Mar-1955. Flown by units at Yeovilton, Stretton & Hal Far then to RNAY Belfast in 1959 for conversion to FAW.22 specification. Later to Culdrose, Hal Far, Lossiemouth. Retired to the FAA Museum in June-1969, and relocated to the FAA Reserve Store at Cobham Hall in July-2002. Fantastic resoration work by the team here - she looks gorgeous.
