The predecessor to the Chinook helicopter, the Bristol Belvedere first flew on July 5, 1958. The helicopter was novel with its twin rotor, and odd anhedral tailplane. It is very long - 16.5m (54'), and its proximity to the other exhibits unfortunately precludes a shot from side-on. When I found somebody else had poached my plan to be the first to show this aircraft on a.net, I thought: "knickers".
