On the East Coast of England, both Tornados perform a 'wing over' manoeuvre. The other aircraft, ZE168, is releasing quite a few decoy flares.

The two planes next to each other on a tilted background gives so much action to this shot!!!!!!

Nice, the right one almost looks like it's powered by solid rocket boosters ;)

Absolutely terrific capture, very sharp considering how much movement there must've been at the time, what is quite interesting to me is the 3 aircraft flying tight formation in the vertical with so much action

WOW!!! That is really some action! The best shot I have seen this year!! Perfect light, perfect composition (that must have been great coordination between the pilots and the photographer!). Congrats Berry!! Best regards, Walter

What a beautiful shot! Just a soaring, gorgeous composition of a couple guys operating a couple of machines in a manner the vast majority of us will unfortunately never get to experience.

This must be the best action shot I've seen this year. You can almost hear the sound, feel the G-forces and see the rapid motion. Excellent timing, good composition, impressive sharpness and field of deph for such a shot. The slight lens flare on in the lower right part only adds sparks to the heat and motion. I love it!

Wow that is a pretty amazing shot. is that the afterburners or flares?

Fantastic action! I think the second aircraft is dumping fuel which catches fire in the hot exhaust. F-111s used to do this. Well planned!

Who says flares are out of fashion? lol

This is one hell of a shot, I wish I was the one taking it! Great job!

What an incredible action shot! Usually I'm not a big fan of the Tornado, but this is really outstanding!

Stunning pic. In responce to the american who thinks the second Tonka is doing a 'dump and burn' your wrong mate. Its releasing flares. The Tornado can't 'dump and burn' as the fuel dump is on the tail, just above the rudder. Timo

Just think, the weapons pylon has to swivel in order to stay streamlined as the swing-wing moves.
