One of the few Tornado GR4s to actually wear squadron markings, in this case those of 617 Squadron, "The Dambusters", arguably the most famous RAF squadron in history. Those aircraft which carry markings also wear their former wartime code letters, prefixed by "AJ". During the Dams Raids of May 16/17 1943, "AJ-N" was the code carried by Lancaster ED912, the aircraft whose Upkeep bouncing bomb breached the Eder Dam.
