Canada Aviation and Space Museum. This aircraft was built in 1944 in Great Britain and flew for the RAF, as well as with one RCAF and one Polish squadron. After the war it was sold to the Netherlands Army Air Force and sent to the East Indies. After further service with the Belgian Air Force and private owners, it was purchased and brought to Canada in 1961. Flown privately from 1962 to 1964, the aircraft was donated by the owner to the Museum. (Canon 40D + 17-55 IS)

Great photo! Too bad the plane is painted wrong...as per Canada Aviation museum standards. No Mk. IX ever had the dark earth/dark green, camouflage. Marks I to V had these colours, 1942 onwards, it was two-tone grey, and green...no brown.
