Almost filling the display hall at the Museum of Army Flying is this amazing Hotspur. Designed as a combat assault glider, it featured all-wood construction with plywood skins. Although a successful design, only 20 Hotspurs were ever used operationally during the Second World War. However over one thousand Mk II and Mk III versions were used by various Glider training schools.
