Designed by the same eccentric Austrian who brought you the flying Willys Jeep ("Hafner Rotabuggy" B-415). This strange contraption was intended to delivery personnel into enemy terriroty more accurately than using a parachute. This exact airframe flew in 1942, being launched by tow behind a Tiger Moth! The rotor rotated freely, but allowed for a slow descent - flights lasted up to 40 minutes. Ex RAF maintenance serial 8381M.
