Nice view of a Wyvern just landed on Eagle's flight deck. The Mirror Projector Landing Sight, invented by British Commander N. Goodhart can be seen behind the left wheel of the aircraft. This system was first adopted by the Royal Navy and was subsequently used by all other navies. Note arrestor wire at full stretch, which will be unhooked once the aircraft has stopped and automatically drawn aft, to await the next aircraft.

It's a Wyvern, that always catches my attention, plus it is caught in action, taking the wire. Always great to see these old birds, especially outside of a museum.
