I arrived PHL with a US Express flight from RIC on the runway byside the GA Terminal that day. The aircraft was still on 27L and I wondered why it is towed very slowly on the runway and guided by quite a lot of trucks (fire truck, etc.). By the time we past the aircraft, the front gear was already down. Well, I have the answer of this strange movement now. Thanks!

Is it not becoming a habit for Dash-8/Q400s to land without landing gear and/or collapsing gear? Japan, SAS, and now this . . .
