A visitor from Canada posted Sat December 27, 2008:This is a prime example of how low the app in to TNCM is.
A visitor from Canada posted Sun June 29, 2008:It's the ground that moves!
A visitor from Poland posted Sat June 14, 2008:By watching hundreds of pictures taken in this place I'm having a feeling that airplanes fly above this beach every few hours. isnt that true? the shot is good, anyway.
A visitor from Puerto Rico posted Tue May 27, 2008:Just Incredible! I would love to be there
A visitor from United States posted Tue May 20, 2008:Love that St Maarten! No better place in the world to watch em come in low and slow! CB ~
A visitor from United States posted Tue May 20, 2008:It's almost as if you could reach up and touch the tires! The guy on the beach certainly seems to be enjoying the view (and sound).
A visitor from Mexico posted Fri May 16, 2008:Without a doubt St.Maarten's Airport is the best place to take photos like this one. That guy on the lower left corner didn't seem to care about that 727.
A visitor from United States posted Thu May 15, 2008:Man, I would be afraid to ride on that thing. Talk about low rent. I bet it barely makes its scheduled maintenance.

A visitor from - posted Fri May 2, 2008:AmeriJet! This plane ALWAYS come in heavy -> TNCM a tad too low hmm..judging by the trim and since the threshold is right infront..mmm..hard to tell ..this plane is USUALLY the first jet in and leave! the t-o = spectacular..engine choke on the hard bank angle
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri May 2, 2008:Great photo-thanks
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu May 1, 2008:Looks like the man was taking just a sunbath in the morning when he was waked up by some traffic. ;-)
A visitor from Germany posted Thu May 1, 2008:They are so loud compared to the modern ones... There's no way to be closer to a landing 727
A visitor from Netherlands Antilles posted Wed April 30, 2008:Amerijet is allowed to have low and fast landing since it is only the pilots on board that is why they could actually fly this low. Air France and KLM can't fly this low if they do the pilots would be sacked and they most probably would get a huge fine lol
A visitor from Mexico posted Wed April 30, 2008:Yup, defintely the best place for plane spottin
A visitor from Ireland posted Wed April 30, 2008:Another low SXM approach Jan well done-Biz Jets and Cargo flyers rule at SXM.
A visitor from Canada posted Wed April 30, 2008:Do pilots wish to have their picture taken by airliners.net spotters while landing at SXM? :)
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed April 30, 2008:Ok thats um a little low, just a tad
A visitor from France posted Wed April 30, 2008:I really love that place but never gone to...in Paris-CDG we can't even stay near any fenc(which is hundreds meters away from the runway),so sad for us spotters...are there safety issues with these low approaches and people really close to the fence in SXM?..anyway,great picture!!!
A visitor from Australia posted Wed April 30, 2008:This will be No.1 for the year I bet
