N106US (cn 1044) Old Shuttle titles can be faintly seen. On Jan. 15, 2009, this aircraft ditched in the Hudson River after experiencing dual engine failure. All 155 passengers and crew survived.

Aircraft: N106US (A320). Route: LGA-CLT. 150 Passengers, 5 Crew Members (no fatalies). While on its initial climb out, the plane struck a flock of birds which resulted in an immediate loss of thrust from both engines. The plane ditched in Hudson River.
