January 15, 2009: US Airways Flight #1549 by member September11 Aircraft: N106US (A320). Route: LGA-CLT. 150 Passengers, 5 Crew Members (no fatalies). While on its initial climb out, the plane struck a flock of birds which resulted in an immediate loss of thrust from both engines. The plane ditched in Hudson River.
