A visitor from Netherlands posted Tue September 27, 2011: Yeah, what's up with the sponsors? Now everybody wants to be associated with it... OK money is important, let them have a (big) sign next to it, but clear the bird, you are spoiling this piece of aviation heritage.

Doesn't make the picture any less awesome though. Your description reads like an advertisement for the museum! (Made me chuckle.) Thanks for sharing!

A visitor from United States posted Tue July 12, 2011: I thought that the museum was going to preserve the plane as it was. I don't recall those sponsor stickers on the plane when it went down. Hopefull those eyesores will be removed!

January 15, 2009: US Airways Flight #1549 by member September11 Aircraft: N106US (A320). Route: LGA-CLT. 150 Passengers, 5 Crew Members (no fatalies). While on its initial climb out, the plane struck a flock of birds which resulted in an immediate loss of thrust from both engines. The plane ditched in Hudson River.
