A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun October 22, 2006:An amazing photo which captures the might of the USAF and the spendthrift nature of the American government !

A visitor from Norway posted Fri August 11, 2006:Has anybody seen my B-52???
A visitor from United States posted Tue August 8, 2006:If you look on Google Earth, you can see an area where cut up B-52s sit exposed, in pieces. The Air Force left them in the open so that Soviet / Russian spy satellites could see them sitting there, to show their complaince with the SALT II treaty. It is a sad sight.
A visitor from United States posted Tue August 8, 2006:There's so many. Great, maybe the USAF won't notice if I take one then..

A visitor from Netherlands posted Tue April 18, 2006:You should look up Tuscon @ the google earth programm you can see lots of planes there (tomcats,Phantoms etc. etc.)
A visitor from Canada posted Sun April 9, 2006:Firstly, great shot. Wow - that many aircraft. Secondly, do the pacifists not remember the Cold War? I think massive military build up, although rediculous, was better than the alternative: Soviet Control. I am not saying that the current force is justified, but this shot is of aircraft that were build in a different, more dangerous (at least overtly so) world.
A visitor from Mexico posted Wed March 29, 2006:I hope they can recycle all that metal and components
A visitor from United States posted Tue March 21, 2006:As a former pilot in the US 8th AF - I probably flew a few of these birds!
A visitor from United States posted Sat February 18, 2006:A great bargain. Think of it, the aircraft were built and in service for more than a quarter century. They did their job. And while it is sad to see them this way in their retirement their likes will never be seen again.
A visitor from Canada posted Mon February 6, 2006:I wonder how many hospitals could have been built with the money invested in these aircraft? Nice, but depressing shot.
A visitor from Poland posted Mon January 30, 2006:Amazing
A visitor from United States posted Sat January 21, 2006:This is the kind of photo that brings tears to my eyes. Seeing all those old birds at the bone yard. I got the privlege of seening my old C-141 being cut in two on the History Channel. I wanted to die
A visitor from United States posted Fri December 2, 2005:Although I can see the beauty in the patterns of these magnificently engineered aircrafts... I'm saddened that my own government felt the need to build such a force. Maybe if for once they would think about how their decisions will affect the rest of the worlds thoughts on our country, the effort put forth to create these, could have been put to better more productive uses.
