I have always admired this beautiful aircraft of a bohemith and I know that the C-5M with it's unmatched capabilities is hands down the worlds largest aircraft in the world and always will be in my book. I don't know where everybody gets the idea that the A380, and the AN-124 are bigger....No way man....maybe the An-225 is, but you gotta think for a minute, the An-225 has 6 stage 111 engines, where as the C-5M only needs 4....you get my point. Overall when it comes to the heavy hauller transports the C-5M super galaxy is by far the best.

A visitor from United States posted Wed September 9, 2009:The most reliable way to make the C-5 fly is what we called the 'Lockheed Local'. (Put it on jacks!) Don't get me wrong, the plane is impressive, just a bit maintenance intensive. DtD
