86-0013 (cn 500-0099) It took aaaaages for the Glaxy to be ready for departure. They had to push it all the way from Aeroshell Square to the runway using their own towbar. when they got to the beginning of the runway, the loading of the towbar was very time consuming. It was fun seeing the nose up though!

I know that by far the C-5M super galaxy will demonstrate it's capability in performing it's mission all around the world. I have always admired this beautiful aircraft of a bohemith and I know that the C-5M with it's unmatched capabilities is hands down the worlds largest aircraft in the world and always will be in my book. I don't know where everybody gets the idea that the A380, and the AN-124 are bigger....No way man....maybe the An-225 is, but you gotta think for a minute, the An-225 has 6 stage 111 engines, where as the C-5M only needs 4....you get my point. Overall when it comes to the heavy hauller transports the C-5M super galaxy is by far the best.

The C-5 Galaxy is a large airplane compared to the others in the United States arsenal.

in Alaska, really like this site, thanks.

The most reliable way to make the C-5 fly is what we called the 'Lockheed Local'. (Put it on jacks!) Don't get me wrong, the plane is impressive, just a bit maintenance intensive. DtD
