In some way they still have to find a way to retract the gears ...

Perfect angle and excellent outline of beautiful F-22 figure.

It is not condensation. You can find images of the Raptor (on the ground) that clearly show that it is part of the intake ductwork.

Sure, a fifth generation fighter is copying stuff from 20 years ago.. haha. Time flies, especially in military aviation and connected technology. The
F-22 rocks and looks very clean & neat!

A visitor from Singapore posted Thu July 29, 2010:
I don't think the air intakes are closed. Those are condensation fog.

Clean shot, nicely framed, background blurred out perfectly. Really nice picture.

This has to be one of the best shots of the Raptor I have seen yet. Just beautiful, thanks.

Now that's a real predator. The fear factor of this one, the impression of power, all togheter with it's radar system, communication and weapons makes it a great fighter. It was a time when tail codes like AK, EG, FF, HO ... stood proudly on the F-15.
These day this fighter make it's own way in the history of air power. Five star shot.

Great shot!

Amazing shot, full of detail and great atmospheric effect. To the comment from Crotia, the F22 has fixed air intakes. What you see is fog inside the inlets.
