If you thought this plane was an expensive white elephant, WITH, the air-to-air fuel-up, just think what it would have cost to try and develope a fuel that would power the engines, maintain it's altitude, AND it's amazing speed; WELL !!For the record, over half of the planes development funds went into it's fuel!! Besides with it's ability to travel randomly around the planet,(unlike a spy satellite) at amazing height's it took many pic's of terrorist camps while they were totally unaware.
