NX712Z / X-133 (cn 3869) What a sight, as these two Warbirds square off against each other in a flyby at the '05 "Wings over Gillespie" Airshow. The green Zero is one of the last flying examples in the world, and is immaculately restored and maintained. The Grumman Hellcat (N1078Z) is just a beauty and a huge crowd-pleaser.

The Hellcat ate Zeros for lunch. The venerable Zero was obsolete by the time the Hellcat came on-line.

The battle of the pacific was won and lost with these two air craft. It's great to see both in one shot.
