A visitor from United States posted Thu January 31, 2008: It seems that the foreground tower instruments really make this picture. As an award-winning stereographer, I know that foreground interest is important. Maybe the plane itself could have been lit better, but the photographer knew his subject, and made the best shot possible.

Combining the detail in the tower (already a rare shot) and the lighting outside on this extremely rare bird gives me the shivers. Bonus features: the ANG ramp in the background; tiny lights all over the field; controller display; ZULU timestamp in neon tubes. Outstanding!
