That's some serious airplane powersliding. Japanese drifters would approve :)

Amazing photo almost looks like he will need the arrestor wire in the fore ground

A visitor from Ireland posted Wed February 7, 2007:
You can almost feel the pilot flying this majestic aircraft. spoilers deployed, correcting for the crosswind to get back on centerline, reverse thrust, braking and taxiing clear after another successful flight.

The photo is very detailed and a very unrear landing of such a great aaeroplane.

WOW! What an amazing picture! Thank you very much for sharing! That is really one awesome view with that nosegear pointed to the middle of the runway after toughdown. I find it amazing that the aircraft is still in that position although it seems to be on the runway for quite a while considering the length of the remaining runway and the fact that spoilers are deployed as well as nose gear touched down. No question, five stars!

Reminds me how difficult it was to land a 707 in a strong crosswind. I've been lucky enough to fly the TCA out of GK in another life....

Simply amazing!

Grey-out effect with the highlight of aircraft and runway lighting stands out well. I like the sharp focus of the aircraft with the haze effect of moisture behind it adding an interesting contrast.

There is not a lot of colour in the photo but (besides that hardly being your fault!) it actually adds to its quality. This is one of the nicest photos I have seen - nice balance and the effect of the exhaust is neat. Well done!

Frank, superb image, you've really captured the moment here and in horrible weather too! Superb, 5 stars - Colin Hines
