You won't be forgotten,flamboyant Comet! Even the Argies fell under your spell...
A visitor from Brazil posted Sat October 20, 2007: The De Havilland Comet is part of aviation history, the first jet airliner. Unfortunately, the Comet 1 suffered from metal fatigue, but the lessons learned were very important. If we fly confortably and safely today, it is a legacy from the investigation of the Comet 1 disasters. Many lives were lost, but we`ll never forget them. Farewell G-ALYP and G-ALYY. I love british airliners.
