128484 Photographed at Bob's Air park in 1994 these Piasecki HUP-2 Retrievers are relics of the very early days of helicopter operations. The HUP-2 entered service in 1952 and had wooden rotor blades and a fabric covered rear pylon. They were retired in 1964. The nearest example went to the Pima Air and Space Museum when this scrapyard closed in 2000.
