Very occasionally, Ospreys will be seen on low-level training sorties in LFA7, usually in the evening. This one is seen here making the first of two passes through the Mach Loop at 1850hrs – luckily we’d been tipped-off about its arrival; it was the most exciting thing most of us had ever seen through here. The aircraft are operated by 7th Special Operations Squadron, 352nd Special Operations Wing, Special Operations Command, and have been based at Mildenhall since June ’13. (160th sec exp)
