This aircraft was the one my Father flew in WWII. He was the navigator under capt. quinn. The information stated about it and the missions as I know it, are correct. If anyone has any more info about this aircraft, it's missions or crew, please share. Thank you.

This photo shows most likely B-29B-40-BA (44-83893, Diamond L 4) which was flown by the 331st BG out of Guam.

Some VERY long missions. The dates illustrate that the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki did not immediately end the war. It took a few more missions to convince the Japanese government that resistance was futile.
