I have one question. Was the same fuel used aboard the B-36 to power both the pusher turboprops and the turbojets, or did this AC require two different types of fuel to be loaded aboard? Either way, this is STILL an awesome aircraft, and I am proud to know that this big heavy never dropped a bomb in anger!

Breathtaking . . . look at the size of that wing! Old "six turning and four burning" was (& still is) really awesome. Unfortunately, its size & slow speed was also its eventual downfall--that, and the fact that nuclear weapons were made smaller (but even more powerful!).
