Remark Photographer
57-0494 (cn 182-3201) Still wearing the markings of the 139th TAS / 109th TAG, this ski equipped C-130D was retired to AMARC on 15th February 1985 when the type was replaced by the LC-130H. These specialised aircraft were responsible for the sometimes hazardous Volant DEW resupply mission to DEW-Line radar stations on the Greenland ice cap. Several sources state that she is currently still in store (2006).
