Great shot, you don't see these big birds kneeling too often, and I've only seen one kneel with the nose down one other time. To the previous commenter, yes, the entire nose of the plane raises up just like a visor.

Raising the visor would be difficult, C5's do not have a visor, Concorde for example has one.

What you mean is that they raise or open the nose-loading door. Probably will be the next step or maybe to bring the plane back up.

Only steel and iron rusts...paint just flakes off in normal ops anyway...didn't think they'd lower the nose gear without rasing the visor though

It's 'kneeling' so items going in and out don't have to go down a steeper ramp.
