A visitor from - posted Wed July 7, 2010: I flew these for the Navy 1982-1984 in Antarctica before VXE-6 was decommissioned. Great aircraft - perfect for the Antarctic mission. In my last flight as an instructor, a student tried to bust the nose ski off the airplane - emergency landing, which I decided to make. Thanks for the memories.
