 A visitor from - posted Sun May 5, 2013:Long story short, originally it was supposed to be called the RS-71 for Recon/Strike. Someone mixed the letters up. Lockheed decided to stay with the mix up, in hopes of striking fear into the hearts of the Soviets. By the way, good capture. | |
