42-95857 / FW-K (cn 8701) National Museum of the US Air Force. The Marauder had the lowest loss rate of any Allied bomber of WWII. 5,266 were built by 1945. This Marauder was flown in combat by the Free French during the final months of WWII. It is ex USAAF 43-34581, but is now painted as a 9th Air Force B-26B 42-95857, assigned to the 387th Bomb Group in 1945. [Canon EOS 40D, EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS USM lens]
