Remark Photographer
78-0567 / ZZ (cn 489/D007) A near-new USAF F-15B taxies toward the RAAF Wiliamtown Fighter Replenishment Area (FRA) during an Exercise in September 1980. This aircraft carries AIM-9L Sidewinder missiles and three external fuel tanks. This Eagle was from Kadena AFB, Okinawa, Japan, and was still in service in 2004 as an F-15D. RAAF pilots had famil flights in this aircraft during the Exercise, and RAAF 77Sqn troops changed the ZZ code to 77 overnight!
