I was the Assistant Crew Chief on this aircraft from 1985 until late 1986 at Spangdahlem AB, Germany. I was involved in the base transition from F-4e to F-16c models. I was given a brand new F-16c 86-0231. I loved working on this jet and was sad to see it was made into a QF. Someone emailed me and told me it was destroyed by missle.
