This is a unique angle to snap a picture of a fighter. The detail on painting is outstanding. You/they used epoxy gray paint as we did, same markings, even the green/white stripes on the rudder. Again, great job here. Keep up the good work. I flew this aircraft many times, perhaps 50 or more sorties. It was one of our best fighters here at the Maine Air National Guard.

What a FANTASTIC photo - and authentic!! We, the MAINEiacs, first started using our trademarked Logo in 1975 - just in time for our last competition (and win!) in the William Tell Fighter Comp - the last year that we flew fighters. (The next year we were "SACumcised", and transferred from fighters and the Air Defense Command [ADC] to KC-135s and the Strategic Air Command [SAC}; they've since become the best tankers in the Air Force, and members/partners in Air Mobility Command [AMC].
