Nice photo. Reading your remark I remember my childhood on the other side of iron curtain when I also visited a military aifield and I found my self feeling same way. It doesn’t any better than that.

I bet you still remember what the plane smelled like, and how rough a metal beast like that can appear when you get up close to it. Magic!
