Remark Photographer
43-4037 (cn 108-32641) This aircraft was manufactured in 1944. It was delivered to the USAAF on September 18, 1944. The aircraft saw no operational service during the war, but was used for training in the United States from 1948 until December 1959. After the USAAF sold the aircraft, it appeared in several films, including 'Catch 22' and 'Hanover Street' before it joined the RAF Museum collection in 1982. The aircraft is painted in the scheme it would have carried immediately after it left the factory, except for the fake serial. It is really the former 44-29366.
