This Is Crazy!!!!! | |
I don't know whether to say wow, or how???? Absolutely amazing
The photo itself it's not so much, but 5 starts are worth just for the timing!!!
Rare moment captured in time.
Cam,sooo cooool i am going on all the Northrop Grumman b-2 sites and this has to be the best
Mark, my mind has just been blown away!!!
Unbelievable projection !
One of the 7 Wonders of the World!!!
The situation! | |
Amazing picture, how did you take this?
Whoa!! ive never heard, or seen a stealth do a fly by at a sporting event! that is an awesome picture! great job!
Wow, a B-2 stealth bomber. price approx. 2.2 billion dollers worth of aircraft right there, more than its own weight in gold
Five star,amazing shot
Good picture! amazing shot in a cessna!
Unseen before | |
Brilliant | |
Good job mate | |
Amazing shot but I really want to know how he was allowed to be in a Cessna over the stadium when the B-2 flew over. I live in Daytona Beach and frequently go out to watch the flyovers of the racetrack. Every time, even if its just fighters, the tower moves EVERYTHING out of the area for miles. The blimp, the video helo's, everything. So how was this Cessna allowed to be show center with an asset like the B-2 coming in? But I love it!
Incredible! Well done!
Not too often do you get to see a B2 from above! I can also say that the data on the B2 is inaccurate; we were over flown by one (opposite direction) by 1000 feet just last week over MCI in an ERJ.
Now i can say this is not the best quality picture i have seen but i cant imagine what it took to get this! 5*!!
How could u get such an awesome photo at an awesome time!
That is just sweet :D My only question is how you got that pic knowing that when the B-2 flies they divert every commercial aircraft for approx 100 miles (I discovered this shortly after 9/11/01). Sufice to say I am very impressed.
Wow, what a shot, Mark thanks for sharing.
You said it bro...i can't see any plane either...what i see here is a ghost of the aviation world ;-)
Excellent job with this one. mahalo!
What? I don't see any airplanes? Just kidding...my jaw about hit the floor when I saw this picture. Stellar!
This is a great picture, wel done!
Wow love it !!!!!!!!!!!!
Mate! How the heck did you do this! Before seeing your comment, I thought you can control the bloody spy satellites!!
I feel like I'm falling! Or at least in a steep turn. Well done
Awesome shot!!!! what a great view of te stadium , the B-2 is such a marvelous aircraft!
Amazing and only possible in the US. Look at the number of people there, the grand spectacle, the bomber, the band, the field. Breathtaking.
POV is killer! | |
WOW chance to make such a pict. is like winning on powerball lottery. Greate ONE
Did you take it from Google Maps ;) Nice photo!
I do hope that B-2 wasn't there for its usual job :P Great photo and you must have been really lucky to catch this aircraft at this moment. Fantastic! 5 stars!
Penn state VS USC... NICE GAME!!! nice pic.
Amazingly unique perspective.
No TFR? Or did you have a waiver? Outstanding photo, nonetheless!
Unbelievable! | |
Nice Shot and I can even imagine how they got it.
Excellent!! Must be in the top 3 of best photo ever! Applaud and cheers
"Please explain what makes this photo excellent" - the subject of this photo!
Simply incredible. Although a rival team, its my home stadium and I really appreciate this photo. Usually its an F/A-18 or something but this day HAD to be special :D Amazing job by the photographer!
Fantastic !! | |
Now you know why they call the Rose Bowl Game the Grandady of all bowls. This photo is living proof.
I wonder what the person who took the photo was flying.
Amazing! | |
I have never seen anything like this before, great shot. It is one of the best pictures on Airliners.net
Great timing, beyond amazing! will you do a poster?
If I am not mistaken, this is the same shot which appears in the January 12 issue of Sports Illustrated. The photographer was in a Cessna at 4500 feet.
Quite a photo I might say.
I just couldn't believe it!! For sure one of the best photos on A.net ever!! 5*
Would've been better with Cal Band =P Truly awesome shot!
To those who are wondering how this photo was taken.. This photo was recently featured in SI magazine and was taken from a Cessna (Sam Chui would be proud) looking down at the B-2 as it flew over the stadium. Incredible shot
This photo is just amazing. I stared at my sports illustrated for about a hour in awe of this photo!
Amazing. The Marching Band on the field below makes it even better. This photo is one of a kind.
I love the b-2 nice pic | |
Great Picture!!!!!!!! Too bad we had to lose...
That is a rockin' shot! Great color variations on the fans and the stadium is packed. The military plane is taking notes... Army/Navy football, rofl!
He obviously lives on the moon and has a out of this world camera with a 800X optical Zoom Duh!!
Wow, simply amazing. | |
How did you get this shot? Timing was perfect!
Awesome shot. Rose Bowl game and B-2 showin
How the hell?!?! Outstanding shot - truly one of the greatest yet!!! I'd give it TEN stars if I could!
Man, this is some shot! Incredible - no other word for this...
WOW! That is a beautiful shot, hell I looked at the picture thinking it was just a great stadium shot, and then lo and behold, I see the B-2, what a delightful surprise:)
I remember watching the ROSEBOWL on tv, and seeing the B2 flying over the stadium when the national anthem was finished!! Great picture dude.!!!
Great shot Mark, many congratulations.
A little googling shows that this is the "Spirit of Missouri" (88-0329). The "Spirit of Pennsylvania" flew over the parade.
I think the photographer might have been in that Goodyear blimp that's been flying over the game all day long!
Just amazing sir. This is a truly unique photo.
WOW! I'm spechless... This photo is marvelous
How can you *not* rate this 5 stars? So many details! I love how the stadium is so split between the two teams playing. So much detail, and I bet half the crowd didnt even know the Spirit was over their heads! Amazing!
Wow My god ! Probably one of the most amaizing pictures of the world !
Absolutely fantastic shot. This one made my day, especially because I was in the student section, row 4!! Fight On Trojans!
Google earth? hmmmm... great shot!
5/5 stars is not enough for this photo. Just stunning. Please share the details if you can...
Incredible shot!! | |
5 Star +. Thats one of the all-time best photos I´ve seen on a.net. And a bit frightening it is, too.
I give it 5 Stars for being truly unique. Capturing a very rarely seen aircraft in a setting such as the Rose Bowl game on New Year's Day 2009 deserves a lot of credit.
Simply amazing, although I wish the outcome of the game would have been different. ;)
Amazing photo!! You mixed 3 of my loves into one photo: Aviation, Penn State and American football. We Are... Penn State!
So much detail everywhere, you could stare at this for ages. Long shadows make it even better.
This is one of those photos I'd take if I had the ability to travel freely in space and time. Amazing.
OMG i have never seen better photo this is so stunning.
What an incredible picture. I am just amazed. Like eveyone else...How did you take this picture?. From another bomber?
Do you work for Google Earth?? what a view!!! Thanks is Just Perfect!
Exceptional! Very nice!
Awesome!! My beloved Trojans!! Great photo Mark!! I live near the Rose Bowl and saw this fly-over from my patio. Thanks for sharing this photo...
Amazing! amazing! | |
This is THE aviation picture of 2009 - nothing will better it!
Wow, I'm speechless! We don't see somthing like this everyday! How did you got this photo? Congratulation!!!
WOW, breathtaking! | |
January 1st, and already a participant for the "Photo of the Year 2009" contest! Great job sir!
Incredible, no other word for it!
Awsome. I also notice they segregate fans at college football.
If I could give this photo six stars I would, purely incredible! - Leo P.
Im surprised it wasn't rejected-its not level...;-))))) Seriously, what a cracking shot, well done!
That's an incredible photo of the B-2 Fly-by during the 2009 Rose Bowl game...how'd you get it?
WOW, nothing else to say
What a flight! What a moment! And a spectacular point of view - my congratulations, Mark, for a good shot. Is it a New Year celebration?
Now thats something you dont see every day..
