86-0140 / DY (cn 100) "Last Lancer" taking-off with four burners from Fairford is really the last ever production B-1B Lancer manufactured in 1986. Aircraft is assigned to 9th Bomb Squadron "Bats" (black band on the tail top) under 7th Bomb Wing dislocated at Dyess AFB in Texas, USA. 9th BS began flying with B-1B in 1993. The unit flew more than 300 combat sorties during its four-month deployment in mid- 2006 in support of the war on terrorism.
