92246 / 86 (cn 3507) This FG-1D is painted up to represent an aircraft that the infamous USMC WWII ace Gregory "Pappy" Boyington was pictured in for a "photo op" during that war. The actual aircraft Boyington was pictured in was an F4U-1A and he never flew that aircraft in combat. The picture on display represents a scene in the Pacific of the famous "Black Sheep" squadron.
