142928 / NL-302 (cn 11990) The Skyhawks were known as 'Heinemann's Hot Rods' for their small, fast and nimble performance. They performed a carrier and land-based attack/bomber role for the US Navy, with a career spanning 26 years after initial delivery in 1956. This example, formerly based with USS Coral Sea, now preserved at the Pima Air and Space Museum.
