158227 (cn 285A-5551) code 227, with a Road Runner cartoon on the front. This highly modified P-3 was owned by the USN and operated by the Natrional Oceanic and Atmospheric Assoc. The airplane was used to keep track of magnetic variation for air and marine navigation charts.
