This pic is awesome. There are rare pics in ANET that stands out due to it's uniqueness, this is it!! I have never seen anything like this. The first feeling is: " Oh Wow! ". The packed stadium, the jets.. just too good! :)

A visitor from United States posted Fri December 16, 2011:
The timing of this shot is amazing. To be able to catch the fighter jets at the exact moment they fly over the packed stadium, with the great contrast in colors in the stadium...incredible.

A visitor from Singapore posted Fri December 16, 2011:
What a pleasing shot!! There are so many beautiful colours in one shot - but the flight of FA-18s still is not lost in all of that. Pure art!

A visitor from United States posted Fri December 16, 2011:
Thanks! We were not in the blimp. We were flying a Cessna 206 circling around the stadium in constant contact with approach control the entire time.

A visitor from Spain posted Fri December 16, 2011:
If you ever wondered what a good timing is...here is the answer!!!

My guess is that he was in the blimp. Great shot!

WUHAAAAA!!!!!! YOU MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!

Not the best of all photos regarding crop and composition, but I rate it 5* anyhow just for the magnificent timing and colors in this shot. Besides the marching band on the field I particularly like how the crowd in the stands can clearly be divided in TCU and Wisconsin fans just by the color of their clothing. Thanks for sharing this result of your unique phototour (By the way: How did you get cleared to fly over the Hornets when all helicopters and the blimp have to give way for miles?).

Good job catching this scene! It must of been quite a challenge to get this shot. I've seen multiple videos of the fly-over but I cant see the aircraft you were in. You guys must of been high. Congrats on the photo.

Nice in-air perspective of that flyover. Taken from another plane, of the Blimp? lol
