Talk about precision formation flying! It looks like a mirror image. The photographer timed this one just perfectly.

A visitor from Sweden posted Thu May 31, 2007:
Nice done! With the planes placed slightly between each other, one upside down and the closest in normal position and the photographer at the perfect spot, well, this is the result. It's a master photograph, five stars!

A visitor from Netherlands posted Wed October 25, 2006:
I would not like to fly that in a long haul flight would you ;-) Great shot Ken

Thank You, Ken for capturing "The Fortus" beautifully. Whenever I visit the USA, I always make it a point to coincide my vacation date with the Blue Angels airshow in San Diego. This is definitely one of the Best aerobatic team in the world. I never tire of seeing them perform.

A visitor from United States posted Sun February 26, 2006:
Is this a difficult manouver? how much skill is needed to set up both aircraft in this manner?

A visitor from United States posted Sun February 26, 2006:
What is happening? looks good, but image is strange

A visitor from Austria posted Sun February 26, 2006:

To answer that question, this is a 2-ship formation with one aircraft upside-down creating a mirror effect. Both are in 'dirty' gear and arrestor hook down configuration.
