A visitor from - posted Wed December 12, 2012: If I'm not mistaken, the battle ship USS Missouri now sits where the cruisers are in this photo.
A visitor from - posted Wed December 12, 2012: The USS Lake Erie was the ship that was doing all the anti-ballistic missile testing for the Navy. At the time they were the only anti-missile program getting hit to kill. That wasn't until the 2000s though I think.
