As part of the START (STrategic Arms Reduction Treaty) treaty a good number of nuclear capable aircraft had to be dismantled and scrapped. Many B52s had been flown to Tucson Davis Monthan where they are slowly being cut apart and recycled. The 93rd 58-0240, the grey aircraft at the front, was actually the last B52G that was flown to the desert on 3rd of May 1994.

Hope they got quick coupling control rods from front to rear, to get them back together when needed.
