Markings identifiable on these forlorn-looking B-52s include those of the 379th BW from Wurtsmith AFB wearing the "Triangular K" on the tail, the markings originally worn by the wing's B-17 Flying Fortresses whilst flying from Kimbolton in England during 1943.
