Great shot of a plane that is dear to my heart, as I served on it in the late 90's. However, just a point of order .... while it's true that the airframe is a Boeing 707, Northrop Grumman is the contractor who builds and delivers the Joint STARS aircraft using the 707 as a source airframe, each one being purchased as a used aircraft off the open market and refurbished by Northrop into an E-8C. Therefore when you use the designation E-8C, I think it would be more correct to state it's a Northrop Grumman E-8C.
