Assigned to 10 ACCS at RAF Mildenhall, UK - configured to SILK PURSE standard. Built in 1982 as KC-135A, cvt'd to EC-135H in 1967 & re-engined with turbofans in 1982, & again cvt'd to GEH-135H in January 1992 as ground instructional platform. To bad she was scrapped in November/December 2000 as 61-0286. This is a very wet 1987 Mildenhall Air Fete! Not much light, but a great selection of "wet" statics! Sister EC-135H 61-0285 was also used at MHZ.

A great photo of a venerable old cold warrior. They had one of these birds forward deployed at Lajes Field, Azores and were swapped out every two weeks or so. I know because I was stationed at Lajes
